THE UFO FILES ARE OPEN — EXCEPT, APPARENTLY, FOR THE GOOD STUFF

The fifth federal UFO/UAP document dump landed August 7, and the government has officially entered the strange new business of mass-producing disclosure.
The Department of War’s PURSUE archive confirms that Release 05 is now public, following earlier tranches in May, June and July. The government says the records are deliberately drawn from unresolved cases—meaning officials cannot determine what was observed, sometimes simply because the available data are insufficient. More releases are promised on a rolling basis. �

Forty-one newly declassified files reportedly span incidents from 1950 through 2026 and include Pentagon, FBI, CIA and State Department material. Among them are accounts involving a triangular object reported at Bagram Airfield and military sensor recordings from the Gulf of Oman. �

So naturally, just as everybody began rummaging through Uncle Sam's new UFO garage sale, another story appeared.
Sources told the New York Post that two classified videos allegedly show a roughly 100-foot triangular object above a Colorado military installation in 2023. The recordings themselves have not been publicly released, so the extraordinary descriptions—cloud camouflage, rapid acceleration and all—remain claims rather than independently verifiable evidence. �

And there lies today's disclosure problem in one beautifully ridiculous package.
The government releases hundreds of pages and videos and says, essentially: Here, you figure it out.
Meanwhile, whistleblowers say the truly impressive material remains classified.
Skeptics have an entirely reasonable response: we've heard versions of this before. Previous Pentagon releases contained objects analysts argued were balloons, sensor artifacts or apparent motion created by parallax. A strange image plus missing data does not equal visitors from Zeta Reticuli. �

Disclosure advocates counter that precisely this unevenness—ordinary-looking material released while supposedly stronger evidence remains protected—is the problem.
Online, Release 05 is already feeding the machine. r/UFOs is highlighting the newly released Afghanistan triangle material, while prominent UAP commentators on X are circulating the fifth tranche. MUFON, interestingly, has posted no comparable breaking case during this same window; its public news page remains dominated by earlier material. �

Maybe disclosure isn't being suppressed anymore.
Maybe it's being uploaded faster than anybody can understand it.

UPDATE RE: THIS POST Most importantly I want to state this is this blogs MOST VIEWED post, for some reason, probably because of the strangeness that was Allison Michelle Ernst (ernest).  I have reached a conclusion that this was one of MANY hoax acts committed on the public for reasons I will not get in to now because I'm not interested in the politics of this case anymore.  It's all a shit-show, fake as could be and the entire James Holmes case was merely a act working against your civil rights.  I concluded after the many hours of videos, and various other reports I've seen that this case was a put-on.  Allison was nothing more than another actor who simply just made this weird case more weird.  Agree to disagree, HIS-Story agreed upon. Information about Gary McKinnon's UFO findings

FMPU has followed the Gary McKinnon case since it first broke. The Scottish pothead computer hacker claims to have viewed government information that was classified. Several rumors abound as in the linked blog post claims to have all the "inside scoop" -- which is, in fact, inside poop. The most revealing part of the article is that Gary used a dial-up modem to perform the hacks into the NASA’s Johnson’s space center website, where he collected/viewed sensitive data - but he was unable to perform saves on the most critical information (pictures of cigar shaped UFOs).  Drats. The rest seems like speculation, though over there at the Open Minds article it reads a bit differently.  As if you have time right?
