The Underwear Bomber story has been confusing since the moment it was first reported after the "attack" on Northwest Airlines Flight 253.  Today, the 25 year old Nigerian, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab , was given life in prison for his participation.  However, there is an amazing story the comes from one witness (and keen observer) from Detroit, MI.  He is a lawyer named Kurt Haskell, and he says that Umar is a "patsy" who was given an intentionally defective bomb, and his story will explain why he will never trust the government again.   FMPU has indeed kept an eye on this story as it's been blogged about since the days following the incident.  The story has a sharp "conspiracy"-like angle nobody will touch with a 10-foot pole, but it is highly credible. FMPU attended a Super Bowl party last weekend and left very disheartened.
