THE PENTAGON JUST DROPPED 41 MORE UFO FILES — AND THE REAL STORY ISN’T THE ALIENS

Something interesting happened to the UFO story this weekend: it escaped the UFO community again.

The U.S. government’s fifth PURSUE release, published August 7, has become the fastest-moving UAP story across mainstream news, YouTube and UFO social media over the past day. The new tranche (no, the use of "tranch" has not escaped my vision, much the way the word "robust" had been used that past few years!) contains 41 records drawn from agencies including the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, State Department and Executive Office of the President. CBS reported that the material ranges from 1950 through 2026.

Among the stranger entries are reports and artistic reconstructions involving triangular objects, historical CIA material, and military encounters. A 2023 Colorado case was reconstructed by the FBI from the testimony of a former Defense Department employee; other reporting has focused on military imagery and unusual observations over the Gulf of Oman.

And here comes the wonderfully inconvenient part.

The government itself says these cases are “unresolved,” not extraterrestrial. PURSUE explicitly warns that a case may remain unresolved simply because there isn’t enough information to determine what happened. The Department says it is inviting outside analysis rather than declaring spaceships have arrived.

By the way, here's "tranch" defined in more detail.  And WHY am I not surprised by its origin?  Check it out: 

Tranch: c. 1500, "a cutting, a piece cut off," from French tranche "a cutting," from trancher, trencher "to cut," Old French trenchier "to cut, carve, slice" (see trench (n.)). Investment and economics use for "block of bonds or installment on a loan" is by 1930. 

On one side, disclosure advocates see the continuing releases as evidence that decades of institutional secrecy are finally cracking. On the other, skeptics correctly point out that unidentified does not mean alien, and that grainy imagery, eyewitness recollections and incomplete sensor data can preserve mysteries that better evidence might kill instantly. Reddit discussion and rapidly appearing YouTube compilations show exactly that split: one audience sees an accelerating disclosure process; another sees an accelerating content-production machine.

FMPU opinion: the second phenomenon may ultimately be as important as the first.

PURSUE is turning UFO disclosure into episodic media: Release 01, Release 02, Release 03… The Department says further tranches will appear every few weeks. That means government transparency is now operating suspiciously like serialized entertainment.

Every drop produces screenshots, reaction videos, Reddit autopsies, X arguments, believers, debunkers and algorithmically manufactured certainty before most people have read page three.

Welcome to Magic Pop disclosure: government archives enter one end of the machine and mythology comes screaming out the other.

The important question isn’t merely What was in the sky?

It is increasingly:

What happens to reality after the internet gets hold of the evidence?

That may be the great UFO/UAP story of 2026 — and FMPU intends to keep watching the machinery as closely as the lights.

UPDATE RE: THIS POST Most importantly I want to state this is this blogs MOST VIEWED post, for some reason, probably because of the strangeness that was Allison Michelle Ernst (ernest).  I have reached a conclusion that this was one of MANY hoax acts committed on the public for reasons I will not get in to now because I'm not interested in the politics of this case anymore.  It's all a shit-show, fake as could be and the entire James Holmes case was merely a act working against your civil rights.  I concluded after the many hours of videos, and various other reports I've seen that this case was a put-on.  Allison was nothing more than another actor who simply just made this weird case more weird.  Agree to disagree, HIS-Story agreed upon. Information about Gary McKinnon's UFO findings

FMPU has followed the Gary McKinnon case since it first broke. The Scottish pothead computer hacker claims to have viewed government information that was classified. Several rumors abound as in the linked blog post claims to have all the "inside scoop" -- which is, in fact, inside poop. The most revealing part of the article is that Gary used a dial-up modem to perform the hacks into the NASA’s Johnson’s space center website, where he collected/viewed sensitive data - but he was unable to perform saves on the most critical information (pictures of cigar shaped UFOs).  Drats. The rest seems like speculation, though over there at the Open Minds article it reads a bit differently.  As if you have time right?
