Oh I miss Warren Zevon.  And it isn't what you think -- I never really got him until tonight.  I don't consider myself late to any party, but his genius isn't exactly the easiest thing to get.  Bring Lawyers, Guns and Money is my favorite.  But I'm listening to his whole catalog of songs and it just gets better the more I dig.  I remember back that the only thing I ever got about Warren was his incredible relationship with David Letterman.  Still, I didn't get the music so I ignored it.  Back then as a kid I just shuffled it together with 60's style music electrified for the 80s/90s. When I heard G.G. Allen sing this, I realized wow, this might be a good song to pass along... This is a nice time capsule...

The #ColoradoShootings is quite a weird story.  I don't trust when a government official gives me an "official story" when witnesses are giving a breed of testimony that completely shreds it apart at the seams. But folks, what is the motivation to not tell the world what has really happened? Fool me once, Columbine. Fool me twice, Arizona. Fool me thrice, Batman.  I don't know if they are getting worse, but there is an interconnectedness to these stories.  Perhaps some kick-ass researcher has been able to visualize this and create a video (set to some form of music...)  we'll see.  Anyway, here's a video you won't easily forget.
