IF THEY SHOT DOWN A UFO AT WHITE SANDS, THE ARGUMENT SHOULD BE ALMOST OVER

Something strange has happened to the latest UAP story.

It has become testable.

Ross Coulthart is reporting that sources describe a government operation at White Sands Missile Range designed to lure, identify and potentially bring down anomalous objects. Rep. Eric Burlison has separately discussed being briefed on an alleged UAP “luring and shoot-down” operation. The stronger claims—presidential authorization, successful recoveries and genuinely anomalous craft—remain publicly unconfirmed. �

That distinction is everything.

Because White Sands possessing the means to knock things out of the sky is not controversial. The military openly tests high-energy lasers and high-power microwaves there against drones and other targets. �

So we have three separate questions being mashed into one UFO smoothie:

Did an intercept program exist?

Did it bring anything down?

And what exactly was brought down?

FMPU refuses to skip from Question One to ALIENS because the middle two questions are inconvenient.

Supporters argue that congressional briefings and multiple insider accounts indicate something extraordinary is occurring and remains trapped behind classification. Skeptics have an equally fair response: a secret drone-testing range knocking unidentified objects out of restricted airspace is almost the least surprising thing imaginable.

Then there is the money trail.

White Sands sits inside an enormous defense ecosystem involving directed-energy research, counter-UAS programs, contractors, laboratories and procurement. That does not prove concealment of UFO technology. It does mean that mundane secrecy, proprietary hardware and genuine national-security compartmentalization already occupy the same landscape where extraordinary claims are being made. �

Which is precisely why blurry video is no longer enough.

If somebody actually recovered an object, give independent scientists a fragment.

Give Congress the chain of custody.

Release the sensor metadata.

Tell us what laboratory analyzed it.

Because this subject has lived for eighty years inside the seductive space between “we can’t explain it” and “therefore I can.”

The White Sands story potentially gives us something better.

Hardware.

If the hardware exists, inspect it.

If it doesn’t, remember who told us it did.

Either result is disclosure.

And frankly, both would be useful.
