This is former Canadian defence minister Paul Hellyer.  Some people claim he's nuts, and that his whole philosophy is skewed.  The video itself has a title that is being, if I may add, a little too self-loving.  Just what is the point here?  Hellyer wanders into some real murky waters, and gets a well-deserved ovation.  Especially if his pleas are taken seriously, what would the real outcome be?  Is this the new Christianity? Yeah, the scientists are at it again.  More grains of toast (no water, sorry) for all the peasants to fight over as what is called a "strange discovery" on Saturn's moon Titan gives birth to a country's fried out perspective on "Hope". Basically, there is hydrogen that is appearing, then somehow scientific data is concluding this hydrogen is dissipating in a yet known manner. Hydrogen, as the Yahoo article states, is "a byproduct of ultraviolet sunlight breaking apart acetylene and methane molecules in the upper atmosphere". Theories are developing, but the one that suggests a methane-based life form may be hoggin' all up is one of those stories I was recently warned about during a podcast by Vzygoth .  With all the bad news, there's always one of these types of stories thrown in to help keep the world from tossing a collective barf over it all.  Stay tuned...

It has been 15 or so years since the last time the stomach flu caught me napping.  It ripped me from my sleep to unfathomable pains throughout my body before reaching an unholy climax that has me flipping endless pages on my new book on the LA punk scene in 1977.  Very appropriate that it's a book about the GERMS.  But there is finer things to be doing at 5am.
