  Comment: I am from Santa Rosa, the town where Jim checked into the motel before he disappeared. I heard one of his songs for the first time while at a New Year's Eve party in my hometown last night, and also heard the story of his disappearance with some local's speculation about what happened to him. I just listened to the whole U.F.O. album and think it's great from start to finish... you did good on this one Jim, RIP

Our eyes need  help because we are limited by what we can see staring off into hard to see things, like the moon, so we can use filters and spend hours and hours and more of our precious time observing the behaviors of the moon. Currents, and smoke and clouds and lights... and UFO... all REALLY exist on (or damn near close to) the moon.  It is all here for you and you don't even need an open mind, it's really right here ready for you to view.   While the search is just getting started, this is a massive leap in the right direction. And I barely had to do a damn thing except go visit Bruce Sees All.  I expect the so-called authority of space (you know who.... it's a four letter "word") to downplay all of this, but you can't deny what your eyes are viewing anymore.  You just can't.  Maybe we are all just sea men after all (hint hint) - where moon is the womb, turning us out one at a time.  Please check out BSA, and I'll add another cool youtub...

A long time ago, back when I decided that I'd become a blogger... The time came when it was just simpler to put down a pad and pen and build an online home or two (or 50) where all the topics I am most interested in can be discussed and pondered.  Some could remain in confidence, others could reach out to those who like similar topics.  So one day I thought of Property Of Mars where I could talk about stories that are in most cases unexplained, or weird, or appealing to my senses. I hope everything posted here is just the warmup - it seems like I have more in the tank and I want to sell t-shirts.  And since blogging is said to be dead, I cannot help but want to share the way lots of my current writer-heroes continue on with it...  How to present is a continuing difficulty - and twitter complicates matters... Here's the difficulty  - I don't want to submit stories you can read on 50 other bigger sites.  I want to bring up tidbits you may not discuss...

Oh I miss Warren Zevon.  And it isn't what you think -- I never really got him until tonight.  I don't consider myself late to any party, but his genius isn't exactly the easiest thing to get.  Bring Lawyers, Guns and Money is my favorite.  But I'm listening to his whole catalog of songs and it just gets better the more I dig.  I remember back that the only thing I ever got about Warren was his incredible relationship with David Letterman.  Still, I didn't get the music so I ignored it.  Back then as a kid I just shuffled it together with 60's style music electrified for the 80s/90s. When I heard G.G. Allen sing this, I realized wow, this might be a good song to pass along... This is a nice time capsule...

Well - if you were lucky, you got to see The Chemical Brothers new Swoon video, but Youtube wiped it off the block yesterday. You'll have to use other means to see it, but I'll just say while the song is damn good - this video is kinda tired and not the most visually stimulating thing CB fans have come to expect. I posted the video because I was excited about getting tickets to see them in August (damn long wait...) and it's going to be a stellar time for sure. In the meanwhile, enjoy this classic. I've enjoyed Where Do I Begin for a good 7 or 8 years. Enjoy the show!
