The fastest-moving UAP story right now is not another fuzzy dot. It is a video the public still cannot watch.
Reporting published over the weekend says the Air Force possesses classified footage allegedly showing a roughly 100-foot black triangular object maneuvering near a Colorado military installation in 2023. Former Air Force personnel and disclosure advocates say the recordings remain inside the Air Force Office of Special Investigations rather than among the material currently being released publicly. Those claims have moved rapidly through r/UFOs, X and disclosure-oriented channels, where the missing footage has become almost more interesting than the footage itself. �

Meanwhile, something verified has happened: on August 7 the Pentagon released the fifth PURSUE tranche, containing 41 UFO/UAP records from agencies including the FBI, CIA, State Department and Pentagon. Among them is an FBI account from a former military pilot describing an enormous silent triangular object passing over Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan in 2002; the witness estimated it at approximately 500 feet, although he acknowledged he could not see the complete shape. �

PURSUE itself cautions that these are unresolved cases, not declarations of extraterrestrial spacecraft. The government explicitly says insufficient information can be enough to leave a case unresolved. �

That distinction is important because the Internet has already placed a tiny party hat on the evidence.
Disclosure advocates reasonably ask why apparently significant military imagery can remain inaccessible while Washington advertises unprecedented transparency. Skeptics reasonably counter that testimony about an unreleased video cannot establish what the video actually depicts. And AARO’s public records pages currently provide no new independent resolution of this Colorado allegation. �

The government releases forty-one files. The algorithm selects one missing film. Reddit argues about it. YouTube produces autopsies of footage nobody possesses. X supplies certainty by the kilogram.
Soon the cultural artifact isn't the UFO.
It is the absence of the UFO.
That may sound ridiculous until you remember how mythology actually works. The sealed room, missing reel, forbidden photograph and unavailable witness have always been more powerful than ordinary evidence because imagination receives unlimited production money.
So release the Colorado videos.
If they're extraordinary, we'll have something extraordinary to examine.
If they're ordinary, another magnificent UFO story dies peacefully in daylight.
But keeping them hidden while advertising disclosure creates the perfect modern American mythology:
Transparency — now featuring material unavailable for viewing.
His-story may eventually explain it.

UPDATE RE: THIS POST Most importantly I want to state this is this blogs MOST VIEWED post, for some reason, probably because of the strangeness that was Allison Michelle Ernst (ernest).  I have reached a conclusion that this was one of MANY hoax acts committed on the public for reasons I will not get in to now because I'm not interested in the politics of this case anymore.  It's all a shit-show, fake as could be and the entire James Holmes case was merely a act working against your civil rights.  I concluded after the many hours of videos, and various other reports I've seen that this case was a put-on.  Allison was nothing more than another actor who simply just made this weird case more weird.  Agree to disagree, HIS-Story agreed upon. Information about Gary McKinnon's UFO findings

FMPU has followed the Gary McKinnon case since it first broke. The Scottish pothead computer hacker claims to have viewed government information that was classified. Several rumors abound as in the linked blog post claims to have all the "inside scoop" -- which is, in fact, inside poop. The most revealing part of the article is that Gary used a dial-up modem to perform the hacks into the NASA’s Johnson’s space center website, where he collected/viewed sensitive data - but he was unable to perform saves on the most critical information (pictures of cigar shaped UFOs).  Drats. The rest seems like speculation, though over there at the Open Minds article it reads a bit differently.  As if you have time right?
