2009 MPU Update!
Hey Magic Poppers and UFO fanatics, I must say - my three blog posts in 2008 were special. It was actually time away from UFO blogging that was much needed for personal perspective, reflective and common sense reasons that led to a year away from writing about my favorite topic(s) beyond any other - Magic Pop and UFOs. I love music, I love space stories, science-fiction or just plain scientific in nature.
So, I have a feeling that after this time off, I have come to a personal revelation that I must continue forth exploring. This will be the year all of my work is going to pay for itself, as I feel I have earned a degree of some sort from a gimmick-research program or written a futurism studies thesis in Pig Latin.
I can't say I'm any more the richer in my tastes in music, but I will certainly add more videos this year of music I am listening to at the moment.
Recently, I was hired as an editor for a new website that is going to be a force and by the time the smoke clears, this site will have somehow, out of all my blogs, come away the most important, and most read. This topic of UFO research deserves even more respect than it demands, and MPU will attempt to provide a similar standard.
In time I will discuss this website in greater detail, as it directly will make an impact on this site and many others, in a positive way.
So subscribe to the site and come back. This year has already been exciting with the Obama news I discussed in the last post and 2012 - Such a massive story an we aren't all that far off, what, like 3.3 years or so now? Bust out that suntan lotion, get a convertible 4-cylinder, lots of carne asada, hop on Evite and invite your pals out to the nearest beach or scenic destination and party it up. There are UFO sighting all over the world. First we are told there were signs of life on Mars, then we were told it was too hostile an environment, then this week we are told the methane was a positive sign of life on the "red" planet.
Who do YOU believe? Well, that in an of itself would have been enough - but THEN MPU found the OUTTHERE dudes at Disinformation! Joe and Raymond and Austin Gandy are back in full-force doing their thing, which does include episodes of The Invisible College. For those of you who missed out on any of the 50 OutThere podcasts, go and check em out, they are packed with great fodder. More than that even, the Disinformation site is a fantastic new home, like in my own life, I welcome this change, I knew they weren't going away for long. I can't say the same for douchebag John Ziegler.
So yes people, thanks for stopping by and if you want a real treat, I urge you to return as this year plans to be a fun, exciting one.

Obama PRO Moon Launch
Yes, let us beat China and regain the world's trust by actually doing something and getting to the goddamned moon. The world deserves it, I deserve it, and even the people at NASA deserve it. Sure I have been hard on NASA, but Obama's plan to make one NASA and the Pentagon has been ringing in my ear, I had to understand what sort of impact this could potentially have.
It requires a level of faith, perhaps, that we as a nation can change enough to invoke this sort of change - the kind that can blow away the Chinese plans, land on the moon's poles and figure out where the loot is before being made fools of again by anyone else in the world.
It is exciting. It is time.

After reading that article, I decided to write an open comment to any NASA scientists who might find this blog post.
Open Comment To NASA or Science Geeks:
Hello, I am someone you don't know. But I am a space geek, I am excited about the potential for humans on Mars.
But I don't want to wait 10 years for NASA to return a rock. That rock would literally and figuratively act as a stepping stone to waiting another 10 years for an astronaut to finally step on Mars. Please don't tell me the Chinese, or the Japanese or - GASP - the Russians are going to just sit there and watch THAT happen. What do the people think? It might not be too large a stretch to suggest people's interest in space is peaking yet again. Pseudoscience and economically tough times have harmonious connectivity. This is a suggestion on how to raise the morale of a civilization.
Enough of this slow sell NASA. Stop naming holes you dig lame Disney characters. Get the science right so we can get humans to Mars. Give us information we don't know, that we'd find interesting without having a PHD. I mean that in the sense that the people will play to the level of what they are given, I promise.
And NASA, if you are reading, I think a growing number of people are growing up in their poor scientific ways. You will see this trend, or even renaissance especially when political turbulence subsides. Stop coddling people and stop underestimating the people's imagination. The possibilities are endless. Screw your Phoenix junkyard mess lander. You guys treated this one like Chewbacca fixing the Millennium Falcon's hyper-drive. I believe Sanford and Son would have built a better "lander".
I'm not trusted media, I am just a citizen who likes blogging. I realize I'm not backing up my emotions with enough hows n whys, I'm just wondering when you are going to step up to show you are deserving of your title as elite scientists. No question you are. In fact it is my honest emotion to want to trust and believe you (in conjunction with the government of the U.S.) hold information that would only boost the human condition. In a world when open source software has built community, I propose the same would happen if more advanced scientific findings by organizations like NASA challenged the people's imaginations by providing more resources and more detailed information on findings space missions. Another great source of information would be findings from the Space Station, but that is a stand-alone issue for another day. Kids suck really bad at science because not enough interesting things are being presented by the science world to the kids in classrooms. Hey, there's another idea, I'm full of them tonight.

So just what is the logical ... there is nothing to explain. There is no logic. I'm not a doomsday wisher... I want answers and I want to be "in" on what is happening.
STEPHENVILLE, Texas - In this farming community where nightfall usually brings clear, starry skies, residents are abuzz over reported sightings of what many believe is a UFO.
Several dozen people — including a pilot, county constable and business owners — insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.
"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a freight company owner and pilot who said the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts."
While federal officials insist there's a logical explanation, locals swear that it was larger, quieter, faster and lower to the ground than an airplane. They also said the object's lights changed configuration, unlike those of a plane. People in several towns who reported seeing it over several weeks have offered similar descriptions of the object.
