One band I always liked is Blink-182. In fact, I shared a massage therapist with Travis at one point some time ago in the San Fernando Valley. She and I hung out every once in a while outside of the massage room, and she was interested in the UFO stories I would talk with her about. She was one of the few women I've ever met who could hold her own in a UFO conversation! So when I found out that Tom DeLonge left Blink to research UFOs of course COS had a reader.... and I'm definitely eagerly awaiting California, their new album due out soon.
Tom, if you ever stop by Magic Pop UFOs - make sure to leave a comment and let me know if you're down for an interview. That's what this blog/website (PropertyofMars.com) originally was designed to pursue. Musicology and UFOlogy are like brothers. It just dawned on me one day that very few, or none, of the people I was around, and the people involved in a career I enjoyed, were just not about UFOlogy, cosmology, etc. due to all of the kookiness associated with the stories being told. I remain strong, but severely beaten down. Is UFOlogy a sucker's game? Call me a sucker.

From the article:
When Blink-182’s upcoming album California drops next week, a certain pierced-lipped, sideways-cap-wearing guitarist won’t be featured in the liner notes. Longtime Blink member Tom DeLonge was replaced by Matt Skiba after quitting the band last year, and a new interview with Mic suggests that his exit wasn’t merely spurred by artistic differences. Instead, DeLonge claims that he needed a break to pursue his one true passion: exposing the truth about UFOs.
