Thoughts Spotlight on Andre
FMPU has been around for a few years. Sure we don't write as much as the other guys and sure we don't really post half as much as the 18 year old UFO nuts over there in the recesses of the internets, but whatever we lack in past performance and appearances of a sense of urgency - we more than make up for with our sexiness. Not really but the amount of information is just too much - right now I've been digging Andre's work. Here are some links where you can find him: ...

The Aliens Within
(Reprinted with permission from the League of Western Fortean Intermediatists) Why do humans create the aliens we create? A look at the evolution of aliens in popular culture, from an astrological standpoint. by Anthony Douglas Perkins This article is an introduction to a theory that I started researching and developing in 1997. It is about the presentation of aliens in popular film and television and how they appear to correspond to the astrological phenomenon of the movement of the planet Neptune through a particular astrological sign in the Western zodiac. The aliens are “archetypes,”...

"Jolly" Good Times
Last year, the story of a man, John West, was presented on ABC. West admitted to killing his mother and father as a "personal medical decision" back in 1999. His two parents died 4 months apart from one another. Assisted suicide was already a hot topic of the day, and since John's father, world-famous psychiatrist Louis Jolyon "Jolly" West, was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and his mother was stricken with alzheimer's disease. Now Jolly had lived quite a life. He was involved in some serious research dealing with mind-control and the occult. ...

Magic Pop: The Brothers are BACK!
Well - if you were lucky, you got to see The Chemical Brothers new Swoon video, but Youtube wiped it off the block yesterday. You'll have to use other means to see it, but I'll just say while the song is damn good - this video is kinda tired and not the most visually stimulating thing CB fans have come to expect. I posted the video because I was excited about getting tickets to see them in August (damn long wait...) and it's going to be a stellar time for sure. In the meanwhile,...

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, say what?
Kirsan Ilyumzhinov is a leader of a Buddhist chess playing region of Russia called Kalmykia. In a TV interview, he claims he was taken up by aliens to see their ship. The sample taking aliens then returned him to earth, and all he got was a lousy t-shirt. Could this be contact? He claims to have many witnesses, but is anyone biting? Read more here. ...

Disinfo Blogging Hail Storm
In viewing a website that is never quite off my radar, yet not fully absorbed by it either - Disinformation brings the goods, but I didn't know just how much goods they bring! I found them when Raymond and Joe moved over to them after their 50th Out There podcast was posted - and have checked in periodically to see what they have. Well somewhere between then and now, there must have been some technical strategery that has brought them out of their shell. All sorts of great topics, like the Mystery virus in...

1st off - happy Mother's Day to every mother in the universe and beyond. You're all a source of life, but without getting too much further into the rabbit hole of mysticism, today was reserved for a lot of blogging about the recent explosion of UFO information on the internets. So much information that it's mind boggling. There is problematic situation brewin' across all search engines, websites and social networking playgrounds. It's a fantastic problem. The divide among the skeptics and the believers is deep, like it always has been (in my experience) only...
