Still waiting on podcast selections from readers, leave names/links or whatev in the comments. I could use the break from my daily slice. That will come, or maybe if I end this lazy episode I will do some hard nosed research myself. Yes, I have been taking the back seat of late, but don't fear, I have weathered a storm of bad people, lengthy obligations and typical bouts with keeping afloat. So the magic pop sounds that much better, the UFO stories intrigue me that much more and a calmness spread throughout the land.......

Rendelsham case to be re-opened?
Now, this is coming from a Youtube post, so who knows. "The ex-Dept. of Defence public face Nick Pope is supposedly "reopening" the enigmatic RENDLESHAM UFO case. Pope of coursde is still a government man, even tho his title may have changed. The great shame is now the governments of this world will be able to assess, cross-reference and do everything else they do with important information. Such a shame. You dont stop working for the government if you change your job title, nor if youve signed the Official Secrets Act, as Pope must have...

Give a prayer for Gerry Rafferty
Music lovers: Gerry was in critical condition as of three weeks ago with liver failure and placed on life support. He was taken off the life support eventually, however, and showed signs of improvement, but it is uncertain if he will ultimately survive. Please pray for this musical genius as his music has touched so many people's lives. The guy is a hopeless drunk, but don't hold it against him that he is living his life out the way he sang so many years ago. Sad. Let us hope for recovery. ...

Help Answer the Mystery of the Missing Qinling Mountains
OK- I'm sure this is a question that was already satisfactorily answered. But I have not found it. If you don't remember what I'm talking about, I added below a link to the story (or nine) but in October a city was rumored to have disappeared. Weird and how Chinese! Whatever, I just thought about the rumors tonight and went looking for a simple picture of the Qinling Mountains and all I found were links to the story that reads like a pathetic b-movie. Somebody help! Maybe I missed it here in links below,...

The Assange is going to release UFO documents? Getting fishy or legit?
On the 3rd it was revealed that the Wikileaks dude is going to release more cables that include information about UFOs. This may be the welcomed method of media delivery for the disclosure of UFOs. It's rock n roll, it's outlaw, it's anti everything we revolt against. We doubt the government and we doubt Washington's hair-gelled assholes, but is Assange for real? When MSNBC released the article, I have to admit, I didn't read much beyond the article's header. I was more interested in the comments, but at that time I first read the...

FMPU Newswire: NY Times "Pit Stop" Article Shows Mainstream Media Letting Down Guard
It's eye-catching when an article is printed in any of the big papers on the topic of UFOs. In the many years of newspaper reading, only a handful of articles could be found and these usually arrive after a major event that becomes popularized, such as The Phoenix Lights and Roswell. Much fewer of the in-betweeners, as I call them, that explore the culture in any depth below the faint tint of laughter. The article is about Judy Messoline and her UFO Watchtower in Hooper, CO. Was on a roadtrip just two short years...

Federation of Zappa
We know the debate, so I skipped part I. You know -- mothers against Ozzy, or masturbation or sex of any kind in rock lyrics. And we should know that Zappa was somehow put the most vocal for the WTF are you talking about side? side of the argument. For what it's worth, music continued it's slide into depravity and filth, to some extent, but by the time it really would have had a detrimental impact, it lost it's listening audience because the music is so fucking awful. In other words, I hear songs...

Three News Stories You Should Read (Epecially If You Don't Care About UFOs)
First off - how dare you. UFO news and links to music videos is all you need, right? No, you need to find out about things happening out there in the "real" world. I feel ya. So, I decided to go around the horn and find three stories of interest. These stories are also wildly under-covered, sorry Bristol Palin fans. 1. WIFI Makes Trees Sick - WIFI helps keep us connected, but it has a dark side, and I'm going to take this story a step further and predict that science will find that...

For the longest time, FMPU has ignored the video that now streams on a zillion different conspiracy blogs. It just seemed like it would be a boring montage of some scenes I'd laugh at, but the other day I was going through the X-files DVDs and came across the episode from March, 2001. And I was shocked, so I found the video and watched it and, hey, waddya know, it's crazy interesting! So I thought you might like to see it if you already have not. The Simpsons "prediction" is coincidence, but the other...

Football Field sized triangle over California? Where was FMPU?
FMPU's trusted UFO news source, Roger Marsh, reported on a California UFO shaped like a triangle. The report came from the MUFON database: "A California witness reports watching a triangle-shaped UFO the "size of a football field" move silently overhead at 1:45 a.m. on November 14, 2010, with 12 red-amber lights outlining itself, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database." In dedication to the "missile" shooting out from the coastline of LA, or so the tale goes, here's a sweet track from 1990 that I think is about con trails. Don't quote me on that, that's just my impression. Swedish Eagle used to play The Orb a lot on Mars FM here in LA for those who remember. Buyer beware: Julian Assange believes 9/11 was not a conspiracy
Scratch WikiLeaks off the "must read" list for their protection of the official 9/11 story. Sorry, but I never give two shits about that garbage his site releases anyway. The information from WikiLeaks is not a big surprise to anyone with enough courage to step away from the box and think for a moment because it was all bullshit. Also, if you think about it, he released about a quarter of a million pages of before unseen notes about death, death, and more death - just what we wanted right? Ugh. And now that...

The Drudge Report has kept this story alive because there has yet to be a definitive explanation for the series of dots that spread across the Chelsea, NY sky on October 13. The NY Daily News is still the only major news org in NY to give this story legs. Speaking of, missing from this story is the presence of another local rag, The New York Times.
