Anyway, there has been very little mention of this story since the 3rd, but here's some messages from the comment thread for your entertainment from the original story...
Comments (Just the beginning!) from the article:
PC:
What a piece of crap article. One mention of UFO's and thats it. I wanted to know more. One line and nothing more. The rest of the article was worthless.
Yeah:
Our "fearless leader" cannot stop him. The person who leaked the info can be charged, but Assange releasing info that was given to him cannot. Further, Assange is not American and is not presently in the jurisdiction of the US. We cannot arrest him. Americans have ignorantly decried international law for decades and now they cry for some. Too bad, other than extradition treaties we have no way of getting Assange.
Dimple:
Reasonably applied, as when names of vulnerable people are redacted out, TRANSPARENCY is key for us to see the complex reality we ALL share.
Transparency may not defeat hypocrisy, but it allows us ALL to become aware of its presence, at least to some degree. In our common awareness, the possibility of betterment arises in our responsibility. The apparent crisis becomes a golden opportunity.
We need to learn to accept truth as is, so we can move on from here. Wherever 'here' is. Then we can face change as natural, and evolve in the best way possible. We got to trust truth above all.
Moreover, our sharing of truth in reality does not have to define us, and it does allow us to better be and grow together.
Cynic:
I'm starting to think this may all just be some big media hoax.
Lockness:
Maybe after he's done with UFO's he'll tell us where BIGFOOT is hiding!
Chris:
Assange will only weaken or end internet neutrality with his outrageous abuse of it!!!!
ModCon:
Wikileaks must be correct because they are under attack by security services and other government sponsored terrorist organizations. Death threats against the principals are clearly terrorist threats. Since government and elected officials make these death threats they need to be arrested for inciting murder and if officially sanctioned the government needs to be cited as a terrorist organization. I guess Scooter Libby and Ollie North convicted felons and terrorists must be under a death threat for supporting terrorists and revealing identities of CIA agents. Where is the rule of law.
JoeBob:
I'll be glad to hear about the UFO information. We'll finally learn which of our politicians are space aliens...not that the others are necessarily human, you understand.
