More Phobos!

I found this page today and thought I'd share.  Reason being that Richard C. Hoagland, pilot of the Enterprise Mission is ranting on about how Phobos is a lot more interesting than what we read about in science class.

Meanwhile, you should go to the website (excerpt below) to read a beginner's lesson in Phobos conspiracy theory.  Fun stuff.

With the arrival of two more rovers transmitting data on the planet Mars, it’s moon Phobo’s has sparked interest once again. Hopes are high that today’s technology will finally be able to put to rest a 40 plus year debate on whether the moon is a natural moon or a hollow moon military Martian base that has been long ago abandoned when the planets atmosphere escaped leaving Mars a dead planet and the Martian race doomed unless they had an escape evacuation plan in place.
Tantalizing photographs have shown perfectly round docking ports hidden inside the moons craters which would allow Martian ships to dock and supply the base and provide transport to and from Mars.
Now, in the hours since posting this I found a few more links with some valuable insight to the Phobos peculiarities.  First off - you know that damn thing is freaky looking.  Doesn't look like any other orbiting satellite for sure...

Anyway, The Big Wobble has a good breakdown of current interest and I thought I'd edit this one in.

Of course the recent release of Phobos photographs made bigger news, even making it to the HuffPost.
You'll also want to check out Keith Laney's site which offers more interesting information.

That's all for now!
