2012 Sightings on the RISE!

The news is that in the first half of January 2012 there has been a dramatic rise in UFO sightings. How many are legit is a whole 'nother question. How is this possible? What does it mean? More people looking up at the sky may be the call, but your guess is as good as mine whether its the 2012 Mayan calendar that is behind it all. Many of the historians out there knowledgeable of the UFO phenomenon will tell you to take it all in with a micro-grain of salt (stay away from rock salt, mind you) because yes a lot of this stuff is bullshit. Though we're not afraid to debunk, keeping an open mind wouldn't be so difficult with some solid proof, right? Yeah, keep shrugging those shoulders, there's no authority on the matter, it wouldn't surprise me if the person with the definitive proof in the event of a touchdown by the aliens will be a buck-toothed farmer, living off the land and out of touch with our fast paced computer world. So there's a Brazil UFO sighting video that's interesting and, despite that debunked messy Jerusalem video buzz in 2011, Israel is continually giving us persistent UFO feeds with a straight face. Israel's promotion of false-flag UFO reports with such conviction is getting lame. We want to believe! Again, more fine-grain salt. For now we are everyone's friend!

  1. Hiya Sam, yeah I agree the hype about increased sightings needing a pinch of salt. Then again, does the taste of bullshit get better with salt? Probably not...

I reckon some of the dodgier people will be screwing about to manipulate the UFO reports this year. Conmen (and women) will be looking to max-out their profits before the 2012 bullshit passes quietly away. If I'm right, we'll see MUFON being battered under increasingly exotic and frequent sighting reports. There'll be more TV shows, more books and a lot of people grabbing the attention and dollars while they can.

Poor Phil Imbrogno must be weeping into his whisky! Poor bastard would've loved the cash opportunities of silly season in 2012.

  2. Phil, huh? Don't know the name but I'll do a search. Wonder who would have made the MOST $ out of 2012... So many died in their quest to this year so if nothing else, we'll just celebrate the fact our fingers still wiggle and enjoy the fireworks?!
